What is your next education pathway?

The Higher National Diploma in Childhood Studies is designed to provide learners with a comprehensive understanding of childhood development, education, well-being, safeguarding, and professional practice within contemporary childhood settings. The programme combines theoretical knowledge with practical application, preparing learners for careers in early childhood education, child development services, educational support, counselling assistance, safeguarding practice, and further academic progression.

The programme is aligned with international academic standards and supports progression pathways to the Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in Childhood Studies affiliated with the University of Essex, United Kingdom.

The curriculum emphasizes holistic child development, safeguarding, inclusion, neurodiversity, research skills, and reflective professional practice. Learners are encouraged to critically evaluate childhood theories, contemporary educational approaches, and evidence-based practices that support children’s learning, well-being, resilience, and development.
